This analysis was completed in order to determine the size of the bearing needed for the roadway to rest upon when being raised. The analysis was done in tandem with analysis three as the bearing sits on the pivot pin. Using the stress that will be acting on the pin, the cross sectional area of bearing would need to be 0.00013 square millimeters. Due to how small that bearing would be, the size chosen was was a 2 x 7 x 3.5 mm bearing.
