The purpose of this analysis was to verify the diameter of the pivot pin for the pulley. The ideal situation was for the pin to be identical to the pin needed elsewhere in the design. Analyzing the pin as a cantilever beam, the diameter of 2 millimeters was found to be sufficient in the design.
